The book
What Lyblac is
Lyb–lác is Old English for “the art of using worts and potions for magical purposes.” The app is a working grimoire: 193 workings from the folk and learned traditions, a cabinet of 166 plants, stones, shells and tools, a moon almanac, a library of readings, and a journal of your own.
A working stays sealed until you hold everything it asks for. Add what you have gathered to your cabinet, and when the last thing is on the shelf, the seal breaks and the rite is yours.
The Grimoire
193 workings in fifteen kinds: protection, cleansing, love, dreams, the sea, the hearth and more. Each with its needs, its moon and its words.
The Cabinet
166 worts, stones, shells and tools, each with a picture, its lore, its planet and element, and a caution where one is due.
The Almanac
Tonight’s moon, the planet of the day and the eight festivals of the year, worked out on your phone from the sky itself.
Studies & Journal
25 readings and spoken incantations in the old tongues, and a dated journal stamped with the moon.

A note
Folklore, not advice
Lyblac presents tradition and folklore for interest and reflection. It is not medical, legal or financial advice, and nothing in it is a claim about what a plant, stone or working will do. Never eat, drink or smoke a plant on the strength of an app. Read the safety notice.
